Grover Cleveland is the only U.S. President to serve two non-consecutive terms (1885-1889 and 1893-1897), making him both our 22nd and 24th President. Prior to being elected President, he served as the Mayor of Buffalo, NY, and was also the Governor of New York. Cleveland's battles for political reform and fiscal conservatism made him an icon for American conservatives of the era. He entered the office of resident as a bachelor. Cleveland was the second President to be married while in office, and the only President to have a wedding in the White House.
The historic Presidential Dollar series began in 2007 with coins for George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison. This is the FIRST coin program in U.S. History to honor all of America's Presidents, and it is destined to be the most popular collection in history, even BIGGER and more popular than the State Quarters!
