The Kennedy Half Dollar is considered by many the #1 collector coin in the country. The obverse shows the Bust of our past president with the reverse the Presidential Seal. The Kennedy is the only coin in US History to use the Presidential Seal design.
Proofs are double struck on highly polished dies, giving the coin's surface a mirror like finish ... the finest made each year. Mintage figures for the special "proof" issues struck only at the San Francisco Mint are significantly lower than the mintages struck in Uncirculated condition.
