This item is for ONE 1893 Isabella Quarter in Super Slider condition. This was issued for the World's Fair in Chicago during 1893. It was authorized after the Half Dollar design was released (the Columbus pair) and petitioned by the Board of Lady Managers of the World's Fair. It features Queen Elizabeth I of Spain, the ONLY foreign head of State ever on a U.S. coin AND it was our very first commemorative with a person on it too! This was the FIRST "real" woman ever to be featured on a U.S. coin and it wouldn't be until 1979 when Susan B. Anthony would be featured. This coin is SCARCE with the original mintage of 24,124!
