A Special US Mint Tribute to Baseball
Join the celebration! 2014 is the 75th anniversary of the Baseball Hall-of-Fame in Cooperstown, NY. Due to the National Baseball Hall of Fame Commemorative Coin Act of 2012, and as a tribute to America's favorite game, the US Mint has released three special coins: a $5 Gold, a 90% Silver Dollar, and a Half Dollar.
Unique "Baseball" Design
How do you make a special release even "more" special? You make it a FIRST, and for these three issues the US Mint added a wrinkle that will make the design easily 2014s Coin-Of-The-Year and ensure its place in history. Each coin is cup shaped or curved to enhance its design...one side is a glove...the other is a baseball. Both sides are unique and are true representations of baseball! The common inscriptions on each coin's obverse are LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 2014.
Only 400,000 of the Dollar Silver Coins were ever minted making this coin nearly one of a kind! It is rated a near PERFECT 69 by ANACS.
These coins are a home run, so grab them up before it is too late!
