The Morgan Dollar is considered by many the "True" coin of the fabled Wild West. Made out of nearly 1 full ounce of .900 pure silver from the famous Comstock Lode silver discovery. It was 1st struck in 1878 and continued until 1904 and then again for one final year in 1921.
This Morgan dollar was struck at the Philadelphia Mint which is America's main, oldest and most historic Mint. The Philadelphia Mint Morgan does not bear a Mint Mark like the branch mints. A Philadelphia Mint Morgan dollar can be determined by looking on the back of the coin below the Eagle....NO mint mark is present above the letters "D" and "O" in the word "Dollar".
This Philadelphia Mint Morgan dollar is certified as MS63 and is Graded by NGC, ANACS or PCGS.
